Genesis will be an open event, both for streaming your own games live, and casting any live game being played. We don't want the rules on casting or streaming to be openly onerous, but request the following :

That anyone interesting in live streaming or casting join the casting channel on Elite Gaming Channel's Discord. This will include any relevant information that may be useful to you, as well as any required assets. https://discord.gg/SQpVnZaKwY

For players live streaming their own games:

  1. The stream title should include one of the following: "EGC's $20k GENESIS" or "EGC's $20k GENESIS (Qualifying)". Only very minor edits to these titles are allowed. It is allowed to not include the prize pool (e.g. just "EGC's GENESIS").
  2. There should be an "!EGC" command as follows: Join Elite Gaming Channel's Discord for more information on big money AOE IV events every week: https://discord.gg/GpwvEdnQGk
  3. It is not required to include any kind of logo or banner.
  4. Players must stream with a 5 minute delay for tournament integrity.
For casters live streaming any game they're not playing in:
  1. The stream title should include one of the following: "EGC's $20k GENESIS" or "EGC's $20k GENESIS (Qualifying)". Only very minor edits to these titles are allowed. It is allowed to not include the prize pool (e.g. EGC's GENESIS).
  2. There should be an "!EGC" command as follows: Join Elite Gaming Channel's Discord for more information on big money AOE IV events every week: https://discord.gg/GpwvEdnQGk
  3. It is required to include the tournament logo on screen when in-game. You may choose the logo version and size/positioning, we just ask you act reasonable in this regard.
Recorded content:

  1. When uploading content to other channels, such as YouTube, it must be clear in either the title or description that this was an Elite Gaming Channel event.
  2. The description must include a link to Elite Gaming Channel Discord (https://discord.gg/GpwvEdnQGk) and Twitch (twitch.tv/egctv).
  3. Content must not be published externally from Twitch (or other initial broadcast platform such as Facebook Gaming) until 48 hours after initial broadcast.

Thank you for your cooperation.
